Salt spray tester

The salt spray tester can test the corrosion resistance of the inorganic or organic coatings of ferrous or non-ferrous metals, such as plating, anodization, chemical conversion, paint, and other surface treatments. The method for evaluating the corrosion resistance of the surface treatment is preferably exposed to the same environment as the use condition. However, the disadvantage of the actual exposure test is that the test period is long, the change of the environment is taken into consideration, and the reproducibility of the test is limited. In order to require its high degree of reproducibility and in order to ensure that all laboratories in the world have the same conditions and results, their test conditions and methods are uniformly regulated. At present, the corrosion analysis is mainly based on imitating salt fog, so how to accurately and effectively control the salt spray conditions, so as to improve the reproducibility for analysis of corrosion resistance and reliability.
